Lessons in Person and Online

Each lesson is private and  customized, usually one-on-one sessions.  I also have siblings, friends, and parent child duos in a single session.  Students learn to focus on the process and let their skills increase naturally.  As much as possible, we use music that is appealing to the student.  As my student said on the welcome page, these lessons are low pressure and more like a jam session.

Pricing and Payment

Individual sessions are $35.00 per half hour

Sessions with two people are $45.00 per half hour

Sessions are usually a half hour long and occur once a week, at the same  time each week. I can also accommodate people with variable schedules. Just ask.

You are welcome to schedule one lesson at $35.00 to check it out.

Please contact me for appointment times. I’ll be happy to work with you to find a time that is mutually agreeable.

I absorb Hawaii’s General Excise Tax, but need to charge a convenience fee of 3% for credit card payments.

Thank you!!

Students shall pay for lessons by the calendar month, in advance, to reserve the time slot.

Students may cancel a lesson by Facebook Messenger or email  through this website. I appreciate as much advance notice as possible.

Students who fail to cancel or come for the lesson at the appointed time will forfeit the cost of the lesson.

We make up canceled lessons at a time convenient for student and teacher. However, same-day cancellations will receive last priority for make-up time.

Tardy students will receive only the remaining portion of the scheduled appointment.

When it is necessary for me to cancel or be late for a lesson, special consideration will be shown to the student.

Special consideration will also be given individuals in care of illness or emergency.

Thank you very much,

Ilisa Peralta
